Academics

Curriculum

A curriculum built around knowledge, creativity, life skills and attitude.

Our curriculum emphasises developing concepts to efficiently deliver each subject, striving for a balanced development of the child across four key elements: knowledge, creativity, life skills and attitude.

Staff are carefully appointed with regard to character and academic qualifications. Faculty meetings are held regularly, and deep personal interest is taken in the welfare of every child. Enrolment is restricted so each child receives personal supervision and attention.

The house system

Four houses, one school

The whole school — day students and boarders alike — is divided into four houses: Acacia, Begonia, Camellia and Daffodil. Inter-house competitions are held regularly in sports, general knowledge and co-curricular activities, training students in self-governance and responsibility.

Assessment

Tracking every student

Cumulative records are maintained for every student to assess overall achievement across the school curriculum. Personal and academic assessments are conducted regularly to track progress, and special classes are held for students who need extra help.
